Student Artwork Throughout the twenty years that I have been illustrating and writing picture books I have received many letters from children and visited many schools and libraries. My favourite part of visiting schools is seeing all the wonderful student artwork and meeting the artists. My favourite letters are the ones that come with pictures. I love the way whole classrooms of artists learn by watching each other and sharing techniques. I know I learn something new every time I step into a school or open a letter. Select one of the galleries on the left to see just a few samples of plasticine artwork by students ages four through twelve.
