| Re-Create
A good way to learn an art technique is to re-create an existing picture. Looking closely a piece of art and copying it can help you understand how the artist created it. It is a good way to practice, and can make it easier to solve problems and invent your own techniques when you create your own original works of art. Grade three students from Nelson Whynder Elementary School in Nova Scotia re-created these illustrations from "Have You Seen Birds?" and "The New Baby Calf". These artists show excellent observation skill and plasticine technique. Imagine what they will do next! - BR.
